Hi! I’m Ari (or Cypress) and my pronouns are they / them. I am an LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent speech language therapist practicing in the San Francisco East Bay Area. I have a passion for supporting my communities, creating accessible spaces, and engaging in nature. In my free time, I can be found in my garden with my wife, camping and hiking, or creating fun art.
I received a B.S. in Psychology from University of Oregon, and a B.S. and M.S. in Communication Disorders from University of Oregon. My experience as an SLP has allowed me to work across the lifespan and in schools across all grade levels. I have experience navigating the special education system and supports that many families share they desire. Throughout my lived experience, I have seen and understand firsthand how challenging taking steps toward advocating for oneself and family can be within the health and education systems. I decided to move into private practice in 2026. This has allowed me to serve my clients to the fullest extent that they want and need.
